Reporting to Responsible 员工s
Before a victim or reporting party reveals any information to a Responsible 员工, the employee should ensure that the victim or reporting party understands the employee’s 报告义务. If the victim or reporting party requests anonymity and confidentiality, the Responsible 员工 should refer the victim to a Confidential 员工.
If the victim or reporting party reports an 事件 to the Responsible 员工 but also requests confidentiality or requests that the matter not be investigated, the employee should tell the victim that the 大学 will consider the request but cannot guarantee that the 大学 will be able to honor it. 在报告的细节 事件 to 第九条协调员, the Responsible 员工 will inform the Title IX Coordinator of the victim or reporting party’s request for confidentiality.
